Trailer of the travel documentary series ARCTIC DRIVE.
22 days of travel, 9500 km of adventure, freedom and open road.
It was an unforgettable journey to ‘the end of the world’. The road of the expedition led through Copenhagen, Norway, northern Sweden to the North Cape (Nordkapp), and back through Murmansk in Russia and Finland. Along the way, Arkady Fiedler experienced an amazing winter, breathtaking scenery and the Arctic night, which came suddenly and unannounced, causing a strange feeling of loneliness and isolation.
The idea of overlanding was crucial in the preparation of the expedition. Arkady didn’t want to use popular tourist routes, he wanted to go wild places, so further decision regarding the car was really important. On such a demanding winter expedition, during which the temperature will drop below 20 degrees Celsius, can you choose a greener vehicle? Answers to these and other questions will appear in the Arctic Drive travel series scheduled for September.
‘ARCTIC DRIVE’ was an operation of two men – traveler Arkady Fiedler and his camera operator – Kamil Piechowiak.
