You have the power to change the world with the stories you tell. Tell the whole heart story. Tell it with Just Like You Films.
Thank you to Faux Tales/Gryffin/Interscope/UMG for donating this beautiful song that so embodies our mission.
Just Like You Films’ mission is to create a kinder, more compassionate world, through the power of film.
Just Like You Films is a local nonprofit film company that produces and globally distributes films, to help kids understand and accept their peers living with a perceived disability, such as facial anomalies, diabetes, cancer, autism, Down’s syndrome, severe burn injuries, anxiety and depression, and food allergies. We also work to promote empathy and end discrimination through our anti-bullying pledge video and campaign. Our films capture real-life stories that reveal how we are all more alike than we are different.
Just Like You Films is led by Emmy Award-Winning filmmaker and founder, Jen Greenstreet, and features the talented and Emmy Award-Winning director of photography, Isaac Alongi. Our films are a resource for teachers, community leaders, therapists, law enforcement and parents. We distribute our films free of charge, and operate with the help of an outstanding volunteer team. We rely on the philanthropy of businesses, corporations, foundations, sponsors, and individual donors to meet our production, operations, and program expenses. Our goal is to serve our community and the world. We provide a tool that can be used at home, in schools, in doctors’ offices, and in municipal settings like police and fire stations, to educate children, parents, friends, and teachers about the truths of a perceived challenge, and what they can do to help. Every community is impacted by the stories that we tell, and this is our way of providing a resource, in the form of a visual presentation, that can be accessible to anyone in need.
